Rumors are making rounds that the developers are ready for a huge investment on the same. They have asked for funds from The Polish Government. By now four proposals has been sent to the authority to get funds for Research and Development purpose that would help them with making modifications in multiplayer, animation and cinematography. They also want to make alterations to City creation to make it look more seamless and unified.

Well, to every one’s amaze they were granted all the four funds that totally shows the confidence authorities have in them. This also made sure that future games from CD Projekt Red should be even more impressive than what we have seen so far.

Since the developers are already working hard on Cyberpunk 2077, and the latest update of the game is also under development which makes it clear that whatever research they do, will show its effects on the game and will most likely not appear in the game.

So what are their plans after they are done with Cyberpunk 2077? Well everybody is expecting that CD Projekt Red would go back to The Witcher Universe and work with the Game only to improve its features. The developers made it clear that we will not be playing a Gerald anymore but that probably does not mean that that the fans would not get to explore more out of it.

So, since the CDPR will soon be done with Cyberpunk 2077, they will release it sometime in between 2017– 2021. And that means if we will get to see the latest Witcher update i.e. The Witcher 4 it will be only after 2022.
